Sheri lives in Jefferson, Maryland (a town with only one stoplight) with her husband Chris, their dog Josie (named after the Steely Dan song), and black cats Lucy (named after The Beatles song) and Vlad (named after Dracula since he has fangs).

Although she loves writing and reading horror, she also loves non-fiction that teaches what isn’t taught in school such as The Boston Molasses Flood, The Triangle Shirtwaist tragedy, and The 1944 Hartford Circus Fire, to name a few.

Her favorite horror movie sub-genre is found fiction, and she’s watched the Hell House LLC series many times. The love of found footage began with The Blair Witch Project, of course. She also loves murder shows and disaster documentaries.

But more than books, movies, and TV, Sheri’s main love is music, mainly music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. She is obsessed—obsessed—with The Beatles. The best way to break through her social anxiety is asking her who her favorite Beatle is (it’s always changing; as of this writing, it’s George). Her brain is also filled with music trivia (did you know that Ringo Starr and Joe Walsh are brothers-in-law?).

Sheri writes mostly short stories and flash fiction. Her first collection, Sacrificial Lambs and Others, was published in 2018, but she has plans to put another together soon. Find her at these links, or email her, especially if you want to talk Beatles.
