Kaleidoscope 2026 A Queer Anthology

Rae Nishida grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she spent far too much time searching the nearby woods for magical doors to other worlds. Inspired by the intricate world building of Tolkien, she had always enjoyed writing fantasy stories that focus on themes of found family, redemption, and self-discovery. She currently lives in Japan with her spouse, two kids, and the yokai that live in the mountains behind her house.
