Matthew McKiernan was born in Cranford New Jersey in 1990 and moved to Yardley Pennsylvania in 1994. He graduated from LaSalle University in 2013 with a BA in English and History. He received his MFA in Creative writing at Rosemont College in May 2016. His first short story, “A Leap of Faith” was published in “Skive Magazine” in November 2013. Another short story, “Dragon Slayer” was published in the Anthology, “Of Dragons & Magic:Tales of the Lost Wolds” in May 2014. “Trapped” was published in the Anthology, “Of Dead and Dying:Tales of the Apocalypse” in October 2014. His short story,”Real” was published in the January 2015 edition of “Beyond Science Fiction.” “Mercy” was published in the Anthology, “The Lost Door” in August 2016. “Voices Beneath The Ice” was published in the January 2017 issue of “SciFan Magazine.” “Closing Time” was published in the Anthology, “Selected Places” in April 2017. “Becoming a Torin” was published in the September 2017 issue of “SciFan Magazine.” “Invaders” was published in the Anthology, “Spring into Science Fiction” in April 2018. His latest short story, “Shattered Souls” was published in the November 2018 Anthology, “Suspense Unimagined. “He is currently editing his Science Fiction Novel, “Human” which he hopes to publish in the near future..
