Cheryl Peña began writing at three years old, but wasn’t published until age fifty, beginning her career as a photographer instead. Her first novella, The House of Wynne Lift, won the Literary Titan Gold Book Award and an Honorable Mention in the 2022 Indies Today Awards. She is also the author of Descent of the Vile, The City That Disappeared, and Void Pirates. When she’s not writing, she still loves photography, knitting, and weaving.
